What do I need to consider when buying a defibrillator?
When purchasing an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), you should consider factors such as: Location, child/adult capabilities, storage & training. More information can be found on our blog where we have dedicated a post just to buying AEDs.
Should I have training?
Absolutely. You are purchasing a life saving medical device. We agree that the equipment tells you exactly what to do, but if in an emergency are you really going to be in the mindset that you’re able to stop and listen? Wouldn’t you rather be familiar with the equipment before having to use it on a real person? First2Train provides AED awareness sessions – contact us for more information.
How many should I buy?
This depends on the size, location & layout of your business. We recommend every business having a minimum of 1 unit. Please get in touch & we can discuss site visits to ensure you have the optimum amount of units to protect your staff.
Do you do installation?
Yes. We supply both indoor and outdoor cabinets. This can be installed by us for an extra fee. Including electrical work. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in.
